This was my fifth published book and is the fifth book I upload to this site (apart from the three separate papers I started with).

It is a collection of some 50 philosophical papers ranging in length from a couple of pages to over 40 pages and ranging in subject from extended essays on Kant and Wittgenstein to short pieces such as “Must Values Be Objective” or “Was Keats a Fool?”.

The preface explains the idea behind the Sphinx and the Phoenix of the title.

Through the 50-odd papers contained in the book runs an integral philosophy so that the papers elucidate, complement and support one another.
